We contracted with Carrigan Painting after three estimates. They responded quickly and their price was very fair. Dave and Stacey repaired five cracks in our drywall in our main area and worked at it until we were totally satisfied. They also painted our basement stairway and our garage. For each task they made sure our furniture and floors were totally protected. They work very well together and are a pleasure to have around. They respected our property and we felt we could have left them alone in the house with no worries. When they left at the end of a day’s work they cleaned everything and never left a mess. They work slowly and meticulously, so if you want a fast but maybe not as thorough a job, they are not the team for you. We appreciated that they took their time and that they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied customers.

Carrigan Painting worked with me to paint the full interior of a new build, which included a cathedral celling and some other difficult to reach features. Carrigan was very responsive with getting me a quote, working out the paint colors and types used in the different rooms, closets, etc. They were also very accommodating, working with me on a slightly varying schedule for when they could start, and working in areas that did not have the finish electrical lighting installed at the time. They did a great job and I would hire them again!

We love having Dave and Stacey do work for us. They are such good and honest people and so nice to have around. They work very hard and are so careful about everything. The first time they did a lot of plastering and painting for us. Stacey noticed a post that was incorrectly taped and although it was not in our contract she insisted on fixing it for us within the quoted estimate. They are detail oriented. She is an excellent plasterer! They painted our basement stairwell and garage also. They are very careful to cover furniture and drapes with plastic and all the floors with drop cloths. They have all the right equipment for the job. When they are finished working they do a thorough job of cleanup and returning furniture to its proper place. Stacey even vacuumed the whole area for us! We are so pleased with the work they just finished. This is a great local company and we are lucky to be able to call on them.

Our favorite painter hands down. We worked with this company to get our Amherst residence ready for sale, and sold it in three days after listing due to their wonderful updates and painting. We love how you can speak directly to those who run the company and get their honest feedback, tailored to your specific budget and needs. Their work is quick and superb. We now live in the Baltimore, MD area and we still found ourselves contacting Carrigan Painting for pro advice on different needs we have for a new home in this area. When you find yourself contacting a company three years later and almost 400 miles away for pro advice then you know they are the best. We would recommend this company to anyone. Five stars.

Amazing work on plaster repairs and painting in our entry hall. We have an older home with a large curved ceiling, and Carrigan were the only people we trusted to actually repair the plaster. The other companies we received quotes from wanted to cover with squared off drywall. They did gorgeous work - just as good as brand new. Pleasant to work with and finished on time and below budget.

dave from carrigan painting came out and gave us an estimate on short notice for work on our bilco doors. he is very polite and his price was fair and he cleans up whatever mess he makes. he did a wonderful job on my bilco doors which were very old and needed alot of sanding . i would highly recommend carrigan painting. job well done.
