✅ Carrigan Painting only uses top quality paints and primers tested in the field to ensure long durable finishes.
✅ Interior painting of walls, ceiling, doors, trim are always properly prepped with the application of two coats of paint.
✅ Exterior painting includes pressure washing, scraping, power sanding, priming, caulking and two coats of paint.

✅ Popcorn ceilings with drywall substrate often require Level 5 finishing after popcorn removal.  
✅ Popcorn ceilings with plaster substrate handle water better during removal, but need longer drying time.  
✅ We use oil-based or shellac primer for water stains, not latex.  
✅ Bathroom ceilings must be treated with mold-resistant primers and paints even if no mold is visible.  
✅ Plaster repair is performed using Lime and Plaster of Paris — never just drywall mud.  
✅ We apply Level 5 skim coats in two passes with pole sanding between.  
✅ Wallpaper removal includes steamers, gel removers, and substrate testing — no shortcuts.  
✅ If wallpaper cannot be removed, we encapsulate with Zinsser Gardz and float new surface.  
✅ Drywall and plaster repairs are finished to paint-ready condition, never left “contractor clean.”
